CONFÉRENCE EN DUO AVEC ROBIN DEVILLE & PHILIPPE MOLINA
robin deville
Description:
Robin Deville has distinguished himself in recent years with a remarkable track record. His competitive career testifies to a rare level of excellence: 1st Prize Cartomagie FFAP and French close-up champion in 2019, before winning The One in Blackpool in 2025.
But this list is not only impressive on paper: it reflects demanding, precise, deeply constructed work. At Robin, card magic is never just a technical demonstration. It is based on a true vision, a search for clarity, impact and coherence, where every detail seems weighed to produce the strongest possible effect.
During this duo conference, which took place on May 8, 2026 at 8:00 p.m., Robin shared several facets of her work through themes that fully resemble her: sandwich routinesavailable in several versions, oil and water, personal approach around a Brainwave without Brainwave, as well as an in-depth reflection on the construction of effects.
Beyond the routines themselves, this conference above all made it possible to understand what is hidden behind such a level of achievement: how an idea takes shape, how a routine is structured, how the effect gains in readability, strength and identity. It is precisely this requirement for construction that links his artistic work to his impressive competition career.
As in the previous duo conferences, my role was to dialogue with him, to question his choices, to explore the reasons for his constructions, and to provide, when appropriate, variations or complementary ideas. This format has not been reduced to a simple explanation of Tricks : it gave rise to a real lively exchange, nourished by the comparison of approaches and questions from the participants present live.
This conference is aimed at magicians who love high-level card magic, thought out, constructed and embodied; for those who want to discover not only beautiful routines, but also the deep logic that allows work to go from good level to very high level.
