I met Féodor at the French national magic congress in Arcachon in 2018, and I was immediately attracted by a detail that was not a detail: he used Mnemonica, through a routine presented late in the evening, simply in the street, on a sidewalk. That’s also what enthusiasts are!
I subsequently discovered his work in more depth through a first conference recorded for VM. I was seduced by his approach and the intelligence of his findings.
Féodor is a mentalist whose approach was built at the crossroads of card magic, observation and spectator psychology. His work is distinguished by a constant search for sobriety, logic and efficiency: doing better with less, favoring structure and reasoning rather than the accumulation of processes.
Above all, he develops a magic where cards become a real support for mental reading, prediction and deduction. His mentalism is concrete, credible, anchored in the manipulation and knowledge of the game, far from spectacular artifices or mystifying presentations. He is above all interested in the way in which an experience is perceived, understood and lived by the spectator.
A specialist in memorized games - and in particular the Mnemonica rosary - Féodor fully exploits the possibilities offered by this tool to build solid, coherent and elegant effects, where everything has a reason for being. The technique is never put forward for its own sake: it serves a purpose, a demonstration, a mental experience.
During this duo conference, which was held on March 6, 2026 at 8:00 p.m., Féodor proposed an exploration of mentalism-oriented card magic: predictions, impossible readings, progressive constructions, and reflections on how to make these experiences credible and impactful in real conditions. A thoughtful, direct and deeply structured magic.
As in previous duo conferences, my role was to dialogue with him, to question his choices, to compare our respective approaches and to provide variations or complementary ideas. This format was not a simple presentation, but a lively conversation, nourished by exchanges with the participants present live.
This conference is aimed at magicians who like to understand the “why” of things, refine their constructions and explore card magic on the border of mentalism, where presentation, logic and spectator perception are at the heart of the work.
