History and effect:
At the end of the 1950s, a certain Edwin Alonzo Boyd was a notorious bank robber who marked the history of Canada by robbing 11 banks before being caught and thrown in prison.
You open an old appearance envelope, you unpack a black paper photo blanket to reveal a real photo of Eddie Boyd behind bars.
A photo that was going to take the headlines of all the newspapers.
You slowly display the photo on both sides and you can even distribute it for examination.
Eddie Boyd was at the head of a small crime union known by the authorities like the Gang Boyd. They did not know that his cell companion was one of his friends named Lenny Jackson. Or as he was better known in the gang, "Lenny Unijambiste".
You put the photo back into the folder, slide it into the envelope and place it in the center of the table. Or you put it on the basis of a overturned wine glass, well in sight.
Like a clock, at three in the morning, in the light of a single match placed on the matchbox, Lenny removed his artificial leg, opened a secret compartment and released a piece of broken saw. And they would take turns to saw through the bars of the prison cell.
You remove a match from a vintage match box, light it up and place it in balance in the center of the matchbox! Then you delicately put it on the envelope while you continue the story.
They did this every night for two months, until November 1, 1951. And in the morning, when the guards opened the cell, they discovered that Eddie had disappeared!
You slowly open the envelope, unpack the black blanket and you notice that the photo has been definitively altered! The figure of Eddie Boyd disappeared - she was torn from the center of the photo!
All that remains is a piece of hawk with broken metals in the middle of the cell ...
Under the photo is a real blade of broken metals saw, out suddenly!
For almost half a century, they never caught up with Eddie Boyd. But tonight, he found himself in a most mysterious place. You address a spectator and say ... you are sitting on him! !!
The spectator gets up and discovers that he is now sitting on the uprooted image of Eddie Boyd!
