Roberto Giobbi was born in 1959 in Basel (Switzerland). After studying extensive studies in learning foreign languages to become an interpreter and translator (French, German, English, Italian and Spanish), and a few years in the industry, Roberto decided to pass professional in 1988.
Roberto is interested in magic, and more particularly in the magic of cards, since 1978. His erudition in this field, his experience as an amateur magician then professional, as well as his friendly relations with the greatest cartoman experts from all over the world have done of him the ideal man to carry out this gigantic work. Roberto Giobbi is a member of the famous Escuela Magica de Madrid, crucible of modern thought (Tamariz, Ascanio, etc.).
This school has only 40 eminent members distributed worldwide. Elected Writer of the year by her colleagues of German expression, vice-world champion of Cartomagie at the Lausanne FISM Congress, Roberto Giobbi is married, has two children, and lives near Basel, Switzerland.
