Description

A succession of impossible effects that follow one another without leaving the slightest respite.

Created by Sylvain Mirouf, renowned magician and creator of EDEN at the Magic Dream Label, and originally published in the 90s, this routine later saw a television adaptation.

It returns today in a version designed for modern close-up: visual, fast-paced, easy to follow and extremely commercial.

The magician has a card chosen, then loses it in the game. He then takes four jokers from his pocket. They are shown one by one, all oriented in the same direction. The magician explains that they have a strange peculiarity: they always function in accordance.

If one turns upside down, the others immediately imitate him. If one is placed face down, the others immediately follow. Everything seems perfectly coordinated... but it's only the beginning.

The spectator names his card. Without any suspicious gesture, one of the jokers transforms before his eyes into the chosen card. Then the other jokers in turn transform into this same card.

Just as the finale seems to have arrived, one card becomes a joker again, then the four cards are fanned: they are four jokers again. The magician finally spreads the deck. Only one card attracts attention: on the back, the inscription “Joker”. It is turned over: it is indeed the chosen card.
