Divine & Conquer is one of the most direct demonstrations of reading and magic reading that we can do with a playing cards. The magician can name one and produce the other with perfect precision and without any maipulation. It is Divine and Conquer of Leo Reed.
Here is what is happening:
A playing cards is spread fairly in the hands of the magician. Two spectators each think of a different card from the game. No card is removed from the game; They only exist in the mind of the spectator. The game is placed on the table, then the magician guess the identity of the card from one of the spectator's thoughts.
