Is magic a concept accessible to babies from 9 to 24 months? This is what we invite you to discover in these conference notes. From fundamental research on the stages of evolution of children to their cognitive perception of the magic act. From the design of an animation on the ground within a crèche to its presentation. It is an unique approach that is offered to you. Whether you practice magic art for children or only for adults. You will find material to develop your practice and better understand how it works.

Recognized specialist in magic towards the very young audience, Peter Din has undertaken for several years research work with babies, in order to determine the contribution of magic emotion among all the emotions they are able to discover . With the help of early childhood professionals, he created targeted animations he presents today in the reception structures of preschool children. He is the author of the big magic of toddlers in 2004 and the magic workshop without tears in 2008 in collaboration with Hervé Pigny.

200 pages, Rigid cover binding, 24 cm x 16.5 cm - bilingual French/English

Extract from the preface by Benoit Rosemont
It has been a quarter of a century that I seriously practice magic, especially that for children, and the biggest revolution in my approach to the show for the little ones was to see Peter Din on stage, then to read his great magic of everything Small, over 15 years ago.
All magicians start to take an interest in an "thing", an effect, a procedure. Some artists think a little more and develop a scenario, a story to embark children in a wonderful adventure. But only a handful will go to the end of the road, considering the spectacle as a succession of emotions, rather than a chain of narrative stages or, worse, a series of things.
In the book you hold in hand, Peter Din gives you all the tools necessary to think about your magic approach upside down ... and thus put it back!
Peter Din presents you very concretely here everything you need to know to get into this magic as wonderful as they are demanding. He suggests all the necessary practical axes.
Up to you…
