The effects described in this book and the philosophy that underlies them are the products of my obsession with magic. They were born from my need to create. I want not only to transmit my effects to you, but also the mental processes and the patterns behind magic. In this regard, I have not kept anything for me, and especially not the philosophy that underpins all my efforts. You would be wrong to add to your repertoire an effect of this book, or by any other magic book, simply because it is there. Only the elements that meet your designer needs should be used.
