Confident DECEPTIONS is a new book by Vanishing Inc., in a rigid coverage version with jacket and containing 240 pages and more than 150 color photographs. This is the superb first work by Jason Ladanye, one of the protected magicians stars by Darwin Ortiz. The equipment is a mixture of magic and play demonstrations, and in each of the eighteen routines, Ladanye demonstrates its ability to maximize the impact of an effect. Some of the effects are quite difficult, but everyone seems absolutely impossible.
Ladanye studied with Darwin Ortiz (which provides a commendable introduction to these pages), and the impact of Ortiz is obvious in the offbeat nature of the intrigues and the clarity of this incredibly impactful magic.
