In volume 1 of "Shades of My Mind", you will discover the "Black Mirror" routine, an amazing coincidence comprising a prediction effect and a card to the number (CAAN). For technique lovers, Thomas shares his m.c.u.b. (My Card Under Box), a routine in several phases in which the chosen map appears several times under the case.

Finally, for passionate mentalism, Thomas presents his booktest: "Fahrenheit 451". SUMMARY

Preface

Introduction

How to use this book?

#1 - A pack of flowers

"A pack of cards is like a flower, it is gently manipulated, with a light hand." A very good friend told me one day that he had finally understood how we held a pack of cards. He had been practicing magic for 30 years!

Routine 1: C.L.F. Opener

Routine type Chicago Opener which is my opening round in close-ups when I arrive at a table.

#2 - mental palace

Like every Saturday, I am on Sheffield's bus, line 51, direction Magic Circle, playing cards By hand, and I have finally completed the learning of my mnemonica!

Routine 2: Black Mirror

Impossible coincidence routine in which an open prepart and card effect is linked. Two unstructed games where everything is left for the exam.

#3 - The keys to my magic

I always have in my playing cards A key card. I develop a reflection on key cards: how to make them and how to use them.

Routine 3: Dark Connection

Blinded eyes, the magician finds, magically or by telepathy, the card chosen at the very moment when the spectator thinks stop. My favorite lap with which I amaze many magicians!

#4 - The center of attentions

I have always been a big shy. I have never been the person at the center of attentions in my group of friends. But the magic allowed me to change the situation. I am convinced that I am not the only one to have been in this situation. I share a few keys to get out of it!

Routine 4: backstage

Original routine in which the magician performs the back tour of the spectator. Without ever having seen the cards, the magician reveals the chosen card. Then are linked surprising revelations ...

Routine 5: Only One

A thought card can be on the table from the start. Finally, this card is the only printed card in the game. This routine uses the "White Room" principle of Ran Pink.

Routine 6: 3813 Triumph Street

Participatory triumph routine in which 3 chosen cards find themselves being the only faces in the air in the game.

#5 - 2 minutes to convince

When you practice magic, you have to know how to be credible and convincing. This is the base for me to be listened to, looked at and admired.

Routine 7: M.C.U.B (My Card Under Box)

Routine in several phases in which the chosen card is constantly found under the case. A visual, dynamic and impossible routine for spectators.

Routine 8: Inception

Routine on the theme of Inception in which a spectator guess the card chosen by a spectator. A participatory routine that will leave a memory engraved in the heads of the spectators. You become a spectator of your effect and the spectators work for you!

Routine 9: Synchronicity

A card chosen is found in laboratory conditions and a freely stated map is found in the spectator's pocket from the start. Finally, a devastating climax!

Routine 10: Fahrenheit 451

Booktest routine in which a chosen page is torn into small pieces. The spectator then selects a word on one of the pieces on the page before burning them. The magician guesses the word thought and the page is recomposed in his initial position in the book.

Routine 11: Card to wallet

Routine in 5 phases in which the card chosen travels, in the case, under the case, in the magician's pocket, under the spectator's hands to finish prisoner of the photo taken at the start of the routine.
