You have two columns of cubes, each numbered from 1 to 6. On the first column, the figures are arranged from top to bottom in ascending order. On the second column, the figures appear exactly in the opposite order. You slide a tube, which you have previously shown empty, on one of the columns of cubes, then remove it. To the surprise of the spectators, the figures of the two columns are found in the same order.
Then the cubes are removed one by one from the column and stacked in a different order. Whatever the manner in which the column is reconstituted - peer or odd figures oriented forward, a cube posed from the way, upside down, or even in a complete disorder - it is enough to briefly cover the column with the tube for that she finds exactly the same order as the other column.
The result is a series of impressive effects, where the spectators themselves can decide on the order of cubes, while noting that the second column perfectly reproduces the sequence chosen.
