Our second, long-awaited edition of EAMES playing cards pays tribute to the emblematic Hang-it-All wall support with daring lines, interconnected colored circles and a palette of nostalgic colors.

Charles and Ray Eames brought a sense of play to the design of the middle of the century, impregnating daily objects with unexpected joy. Our second edition of Eames playing cards takes up this approach by celebrating their emblematic Hang-it-All wall support.
The first thing you notice is the jubilant color palette of the early 1950s. The visual motif is an obvious tribute to the stick and the original design ball. However, by adapting the Hang-it-All to a new form, we made a surprising discovery.
When the traditional symbols of playing cards are replaced by figures, the result is more logical and more coherent visually. Thus, inspired by the rebellious spirit of Ray and Charles, we decided to completely abandon the aristocracy and to adopt a more minimalist approach. The cards are simply numbered from 1 to 13, a subtle but slowly revolutionary gesture that we had never tried before.
Today, we cannot help but ask ourselves why this clarity has escaped us for so long. Whenever we mix the package and juggles with the colored bullets, we remember the enthusiasm of the Eames to challenge the gravity of expectations and to embrace a spirit of exploration.
Eames playing cards are presented in a box printed in typography recalling the house that Charles and Ray have designed and built in Los Angeles, California. Made in the United States.
