Sweet Prediction of Ted Bogusta is one of the cleanest and fastest effects based on signed money coins found in an impossible place.
Although there are many possibilities, the main routine is disguised in play with a price and a prediction. The final appearance of the part is unexpected and constitutes a total shock!
You take a coin (25 cents or similar size) and ask the spectator to remember the date and affix his initials.
You then place the room inside an envelope that the spectator keeps well in sight. Then you show a paper bag which you explain it contains their price if your prediction is false.
You open the bag and remove a jar filled with candies. You explain that the jar also contains the prediction of the date of the play and that if your prediction is wrong, the spectator will keep all candies.
The spectator opens the jar and draws a ribbon which is buried among the candies. At the end of the ribbon is a clamp to which a coin is attached. You explain to him that the date registered on the part must correspond to the date on which he thinks. And that's the case !
But here is the unexpected shock. When they return the room, they realize that it is in fact their own room with their initials!
It is extremely easy to do and can be used for many presentations.
The bag containing the jar can also be left to the sight of all for the duration of the number.
